star this property answer text <p>The Office for National Statistics (ONS) produces comparisons of UK productivity with the G7 countries and some, but not all, EU member states. ONS statistics show output per hour worked in the UK was 15.9% below the average for the rest of the G7 advanced economies in 2015; 22.7% below that in France; 26.7% below Germany and 22.2% below the USA.</p><p>Please see attached tables for full details.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Since 2011, the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has published on its website an annual report on the implementation of the UK Corporate Governance Code. In addition, the Government recently published a Green Paper initiating a public consultation on how to upgrade the UK’s corporate governance framework, which included certain aspects of the Code. In February the FRC announced its plans for a fundamental review of the Code building on its globally recognised strengths while considering the appropriate balance between its principles and provisions and the growing demands on the corporate governance framework.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Annual Business Survey 2015, published 9 June 2017, showed that the “manufacture of bricks, tiles and construction products, in baked clay” sector in 2015 employed 5,000 people across 125 enterprises, with a turnover of £925million.</p><p>Whilst there are no individual statistics on the brick industry other data suggests well over half of this sector is brick manufacture. This represents 0.01% of enterprises and 0.03% of turnover and employment in the non-financial business economy.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Mineral Products Association has produced analysis in regards to recycled aggregates. The report, Mineral Products Industry at a Glance 2016, indicates 28% of aggregates in 2015 came from recycled or secondary sources.</p><p>Mineral Planning Authorities in England are responsible for assessing recycled aggregates. When undertaking their Annual Aggregate Assessments they identify the proportion of construction aggregates that derive from recycled sources and estimate the future supply of recycled materials.</p> more like this
