star this property answer text <p>NHS England involves patients, patient groups and the public at numerous stages of the process for developing clinical commissioning policies and service specifications that may be subject to a process of relative prioritisation.</p><p> </p><p>Clinical policies and service specifications are developed by Clinical Reference Groups (CRGs), which are advisory groups and include patients and patient representatives in their membership. Draft clinical policies and service specifications undergo a process of testing with registered stakeholders before they are submitted for a full public consultation. The CRG will consider the outcome of stakeholder testing and public consultation before submitting the final proposed document to NHS England for the purpose of relative prioritisation.</p><p> </p><p>Recommendations on the relative prioritisation of new investments in specialised services are made by the Clinical Priorities Advisory Group, which is independently chaired and which includes patient and public voice representatives in its membership. ​</p><p><em> </em></p><p>NHS England held a public consultation on <em>Developing a method to assist investment decisions in specialised commissioning </em>between April and May 2016. NHS England’s response to the consultation can be found attached.</p>

Retail fuels markets are subject to UK competition law under the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy does not collect statistics by the nations or the regions of the UK but it does publish weekly UK statistics retail petrol and diesel prices: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/oil-and-petroleum-products-weekly-statistics" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/oil-and-petroleum-products-weekly-statistics</a>. star this property answer text <p>The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills published a number of reports on Gov.uk, which complement the broader academic literature on this subject. These reports can be found on GOV.UK.</p><p>Firstly, the report “Leadership and Management in the UK - the Key to Sustainable Growth” was published in 2012. This summarised the key evidence and set out the benefits of business investment in leadership and management skills.</p><p>The research report “Does Worker Wellbeing Affect Workplace Performance?” was published in October 2014. The analysis suggested that well-being is also positively associated with workplace financial performance, labour productivity and the quality of output or service.</p><p>Most recently, the research report, “Leadership and management skills in small and medium-sized businesses” was published in 2015. The research suggested that entrepreneurship skills and leadership skills were most consistently and strongly associated with good management practice and performance of small and medium-sized enterprises.</p>

On each occasion a formal call for evidence was issued. With regard to the most recent report, the Panel received confidential correspondence on particular issues. Panel members were able to share private correspondence with the Secretariat that supports the Panel, where relevant. Where any evidence has influenced the reports it has been cited.</p><p>The HFEA has also advised that it approached John Zhang, following the publication of the abstract from the October 2016 American Society for Reproductive Medicine meeting, entitled “First live birth using human oocytes reconstituted by spindle nuclear transfer for mitochondrial DNA mutation causing Leigh syndrome”. A copy of the abstract is attached. The Panel also interviewed Prof. Zhang to further understand the methods used. The Panel’s report references the Zhang work.</p> more like this
