answer text <p>Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland have a long-standing reciprocal arrangement on voting rights between the two countries. Irish citizens resident in the UK can vote in UK Parliamentary and local elections. The franchise for UK-wide referendums is set on a case-by-case in the legislation providing for the referendum. British citizens resident in the Republic of Ireland can vote at Dail and local Elections but not in Presidential elections or referendums held in the Republic unless the British citizen is a also an Irish citizen.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In response to COVID-19, 21 Cancer Alliances across England now have arrangements in place for cancer hubs. These are hospitals dedicated to cancer care away from hospitals dealing with the virus to keep often vulnerable cancer patients safe.</p><p>Essential and urgent cancer treatment has continued throughout the pandemic period, and we are now working on the restoration and recovery of all cancer services.</p><p>As part of the restoration of services, NHS services will continue to identify ring-fenced diagnostic and surgical capacity for cancer, as well as delivering treating patients in cancer hubs, to ensure that referrals, diagnostics and treatment are brought back to pre-pandemic levels.</p> more like this

answer text <p>At the 2016 Supporting Syria and the Region Conference, donors pledged $6 billion grants for 2016 and a further $6.1 billion for 2017-2020. The Department for International Development has set up a tracking mechanism that reports on the delivery of all the financial commitments made at the Conference.</p><p>The most recent tracking report was published on 6 February 2017. It shows that of the $6 billion grants pledged for 2016, donors have spent $6.2 billion. We expect donors to fully spend their 2017-20 pledges by 2020 and continue to work with other London Conference co-hosts to urge donors to mobilise financial support to the crisis.</p> more like this
