The Government will consider these responses carefully to determine what changes, if any, are required. At this stage final force-level allocations have not been set and will not be determined until we have completed our analysis. Chief Constable David Shaw’s Use of Force Data Review is expected to report to the Home Secretary later this year. We do so to tackle the international drugs trade and minimise the threat it poses to the UK. Our work involves the sharing of operational information and expertise and the provision of capacity building. It is important to protect activities which form part of the UK's contribution to the international counter-narcotics effort and to respect the principle that international partners are able to operate in secrecy on matters of national security against organised crime.
