The Government will consider these responses carefully to determine what changes, if any, are required. At this stage final force-level allocations have not been set and will not be determined until we have completed our analysis. We will continue to engage with policing partners during this process and intend to provide information, including exemplifications of future allocations, as these develop.</p><p>Alongside the development of the new funding model, we are developing a Policy Equalities Statement which will set out how this work has been completed in compliance with the Public Sector Equality Duty.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 introduced the policy of national dispersal, designed to share the impact of asylum seekers across the whole of the UK. Asylum seekers are housed across the UK under voluntary agreements between national government and local authorities that have been in place since 2000.</p><p>We work to a maximum agreed dispersal ratio of 1:200 asylum seekers per head of total population. We are proactively engaging with all areas that to date have not participated in asylum dispersal with a view to negotiating voluntary agreements to do so.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We have continued to make clear to our providers that the use of hotels is only acceptable as a short-term contingency arrangement and we are supporting all measures being pursued by providers to increase procurement to provide sufficient accommodation as a matter of urgency.</p><p>With the support of local authorities we, and our housing providers, are engaging with areas that to date have not participated in asylum dispersal with a view to negotiating voluntary agreements to do so. We are also working through a range of other options for accommodating asylum seekers safely and securely.</p> more like this

The deployment of available resources is a matter for chief officers <br>locally, working with their Police and Crime Commissioner.<br><br>At the overall police force area level, according to the definitions set out by <br>Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary, North Wales Police plan to have <br>1428 police officers working in frontline roles by March 2015. This represents <br>95 % of the total police officer workforce compared to 92%<br>(1,458 officers) in <br>March 2010. <br><br>Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary has made clear there is no simple <br>link between officer numbers and crime levels.
