	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/11/2014 answer text <p>Article 6 of the European Convention on Extradition allows Contracting Parties to refuse to extradite their nationals (in any circumstances).</p><p>It is already the case that the UK does not extradite British nationals in some cases where the tests in the Extradition Act 2003 are not met or where a statutory bar to extradition applies.
