A review of teacher assistant standards for schools in England was launched recently. It is led by Kate Dethridge who is being supported by a panel of experts. A public call for evidence will be initiated shortly which will explore good practice across schools. The Department for Education also plans carry out a public consultation once the standards have been agreed by the expert panel. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/10/2014 answer text <p>The 4<sup>th</sup> EU Anti-Money Laundering Directive transposes the global standards on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism finance set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in 2012. These standards further embed the risk-based approach, which allow obliged entities, including companies, to adopt anti-money laundering checks which are best suited to the risk they face in their everyday business. This allows for more proportionate and balanced anti-money laundering regimes across the EU including in the UK.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Directive is currently in its last stage of negotiations. The UK government is committed to publishing an impact assessment and to consulting on the implementation of the Directive before transposing its new requirements into UK legislation, in line with better regulation principles. We are concerned that deportations have resumed. Officials at our High Commission in Colombo have raised our concerns with the Sri Lankan government, including by joining an EU demarche to the Sri Lankan government on this issue. We have made clear that deportations should only be carried out in accordance with Sri Lanka’s international obligations. We are aware of concerns in Malaysia about rising acts of religious intolerance and we regularly raise the issue of freedom of religion with the Malaysian authorities.</p><p>Freedom of religion was at the heart of my right hon. and noble Friend the former Minister of State's (Baroness Warsi's) visit to Malaysia in April this year. She had wide-ranging meetings on this issue, including with the Malaysian Prime Minister, and made a major speech setting out the UK position. We also pursue the importance of observing religious freedoms through Parliamentary and experts visits and through multi-lateral mechanisms, such as the EU and the UN. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/10/2014 answer text <p>Public Health England (PHE) strongly encourages women to take a folic acid supplement from before they are pregnant to the 12th week of pregnancy, to reduce the risk of having a baby with a neural tube defect. This advice is included in public health messages around pregnancy and planning a pregnancy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance states that advice on folic acid supplementation should be provided as part of antenatal care at first contact with a healthcare professional. Advice on folic acid supplementation for women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, is disseminated through a variety of sources including the NHS Choices website, the NHS Information Service for Parents, the charity ‘Tommy’s’, and Start4Life - PHE’s campaign to give babies the best start in life and reduce the risk of poor health in the future.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>PHE has recently established a media partnership to communicate the key healthy behaviour messages prior to conception in more mainstream women’s magazine media.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Department has commissioned the Behavioural Insights Team to look at innovative approaches to raising awareness of the need to take folic acid supplements during pregnancy.
