In the unlikely event that we leave the EU without a deal, HM Revenue and Customs has published a ‘Partnership Pack’ to help businesses to prepare for changes at the UK border. The government has also published a technical notice to help businesses prepare for changes to VAT from March 2019 in the event of a ‘no deal’ scenario. HMRC will ensure that further information will be made available to small and medium sized businesses in due course through established channels.
