unstar this property answer text <p>As of 29 February 2016 (a) 237 authorities had an adopted local plan in place, (b) 1 authority had a local plan that had been found sound by the planning inspectorate but not yet adopted, (c) 29 authorities had plans that have been submitted but not yet assessed by the planning inspectorate and (d) 17 authorities had published a plan but not yet submitted it for inspection.</p><p>We have committed to publishing league tables, setting out local authorities’ progress on providing a plan for the jobs and homes needed locally. unstar this property answer text <p>There are no current planned changes to the income eligibility thresholds for shared ownership funded by the Homes and Communities Agency across England, excluding London. However, we do keep these matters under review. <br><br>The Greater London Authority has committed in the London Plan to update the income thresholds for London on an annual basis through the Annual Monitoring Report. The next Report is due to be published at the end of March 2015. Any changes to the income thresholds will apply from 1 April 2015. All partners will be informed on the updated income thresholds and all public information on shared ownership will be updated accordingly.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Through the Spending Review the Government has committed to investing £8 billion to deliver over 400,000 affordable housing starts, doubling our investment in affordable housing from 2018-19.</p><p>This includes £1.7 billion to deliver around 100,000 homes for affordable or intermediate rent. Already through the 2015-18 Affordable Homes programme we have allocated over £1 billion to deliver affordable housing, with the majority being for rented housing.</p><p>Since April 2010 we have delivered over 260,000 affordable homes. Under Labour the stock of affordable homes fell by 420,000, with 1.8 million families on social housing waiting lists. More council housing has been built since 2010 than in the previous 13 years of a Labour Government.</p><p>The funding allocated to housing associations and local authorities will depend on the bids submitted to the Affordable Homes programme.</p><br /> more like this
