answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/04/2021 answer text <p>The number of <strong>disability employment advisers employed by the department in March:-</strong></p><p><strong>2018 was 465</strong></p><p><strong>2019 was 441</strong></p><p><strong>2020 was 546</strong></p><p><strong>2021 was 479</strong></p><p>Please note that we only have figures back to March 2018 because around that time we updated our business systems and any figures before this update are no longer available. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/04/2021 answer text <p>Defra works closely with the Home Office and the Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority to monitor and evaluate the Seasonal Workers Pilot against its stated aims and ensure that its rules and regulations are being adhered to.</p><p> </p><p>The Government takes the safety and wellbeing of seasonal workers extremely seriously. The Home Office sponsor licencing system places clear and binding requirements and obligations on the operators of the Seasonal Workers Pilot to safeguard seasonal workers.</p><p> </p><p>The Seasonal Workers Pilot requires the operators to ensure all seasonal workers have a safe working environment, are treated fairly and paid properly, and robust systems are in place for the reporting of concerns and rapid action. A prerequisite for becoming an operator is that each organisation must hold and maintain licencing from the Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/04/2021 answer text <p>We know that as a result of the pandemic, there was an unprecedented increase in the number of deaths overall in 2020 and an increase in the proportion of those dying at home. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the body with statutory responsibility for monitoring, inspecting and regulating services that provide regulated activities within health and social care, to ensure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.</p><p>Palliative care providers, including those for people at the end of their lives receiving care at home, are routinely inspected by the CQC and assessed on the quality of palliative care they provide. During the pandemic the CQC suspended routine inspections to reduce the pressure on health and social care services but continued to monitor providers using a range of information, including feedback from people that use services and their families. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/04/2021 answer text <p>As research into the long-term health symptoms and impacts of COVID-19 is ongoing, we are collaborating across Government to monitor emerging evidence and consider our response.</p><p> </p><p>People living with a condition arising from exposure to the COVID-19 virus can access the financial support that is available through Statutory Sick Pay, Universal Credit and New Style ESA. They are also able to access Personal Independence Payment in the same way as other people with long-term health conditions or disabilities. Disability benefits do not include or exclude by condition, instead they look at the needs arising from a long-term health condition or disability. People may be able to claim ESA or Pension Credit depending on their individual circumstances.</p><p> </p><p>Claimants are offered additional support where appropriate alongside signposting to independent benefits calculators on GOV.UK.
