answer text <p>Sunitinib (Sutent) is mainly used in hospitals, where usage is recorded in volumes rather than numbers of prescription items. NICE does not recommend sunitinib for the second-line treatment of renal cell carcinoma.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>NHS commissioners are legally required to fund drugs and treatments recommended in NICE technology appraisal guidance within three months of NICE’s final guidance. Sunitinib is also available to patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinomas through the Cancer Drugs Fund.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p>

NICE does not recommend sunitinib for the second-line treatment of this condition.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Sunitinib for the treatment of kidney cancer is not included on the national list of drugs provided routinely through the Cancer Drugs Fund and clinicians are able to apply for individual patients to receive the drug on an exceptional basis.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK is extremely concerned about the deteriorating situation in Yemen. We continue to believe that an inclusive political process is the best way to achieve long-term stability, avoid civil war, economic collapse and a humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen. We work through the UN, Friends of Yemen and other international organisations to support the political transition. The UK contributes core funding to the Office of Jamal Benomar, the UN Special Advisor to the Secretary General, who is leading the political negotiations. The UK is also providing financial support via the UN to the political transition, including the National Dialogue Conference and constitution drafting, and for the elections process.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Delivery of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended care processes for diabetes continues to be incentivised through the quality and outcomes framework. The latest data shows a 60% completion rate of all the 8 measurable NICE care processes, a 5% improvement on 2010.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The diabetes profiles, published by Public Health England, enable local clinical commissioning groups to compare their performance with others on controlling blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol levels and so identify where action needs to take place to improve.</p><p> </p> more like this
