answer text <p>The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) does not collect data on the outcome of applications made by the CPS to the courts to extend custody time limits or the outcome of applications made by the CPS to the court to extend pre-charge bail periods. Such information could only be obtained through a manual search of records which would incur disproportionate cost.</p> more like this
