<p>The Department for International Trade is actively discussing extension of the UK’s WTO membership with Guernsey. Membership extension would naturally require Guernsey to be fully compliant with the terms of the UK’s WTO membership. No decisions have yet been taken.</p><p>My Rt Hon. Friend the Secretary of State for International Trade met with the Chief Minister of Guernsey on 7 February 2019 to discuss the WTO membership extension matter.</p>
