answer text <p>The Government has no immediate plans to publish the minutes of the negotiations on the 1990 Dublin Convention which took place between 1987 and 1990. Any surviving papers relating to negotiations will be contained in files relating to the Convention and these will be considered for selection and transfer to The National Archives in line with the 1958 Public Records Act as amended by subsequent legislation.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Nuclear National Policy Statement, approved by Parliament in July 2011, identified eight potentially suitable sites for new nuclear power stations. The Government welcomes proposals for development at all eight sites. No proposals for development have so far been made for two of the sites – Heysham and Hartlepool.</p><p> </p><p>During the Budget, my rt. hon. Friend Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer announced the launch of phase one of a competitive process to identify which Small Modular Reactor designs could feasibly be delivered in the UK. Government also made a commitment to publish an SMR delivery roadmap to clarify the UK’s plan for addressing SMR related siting, regulatory approvals and skills issues.</p><p> </p><p>The Government will address the issue of site identification for SMRs, but no potential sites or siting criteria have been identified at present.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Pet Travel Scheme covers pet dogs, cats and ferrets. There are separate rules for the commercial importation of these animals; for example for sale or rehoming.</p><p> </p><p>Any dog, cat or ferret identified as being non-compliant with either Pet Travel Scheme or commercial rules to enter the UK will be placed into quarantine. We hold data on illegally landed animals for the three previous years and do not record the species involved or whether the quarantined animals were a pet travel or commercial movement.</p><p> </p><p>The numbers of dogs, cats and ferrets quarantined were 461 in 2013, 498 in 2014 and 609 in 2015.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The current regulation states that an application for an EU Solidarity Fund grant must come from an EU member state government.</p><p> </p><p>The Treasury leads on negotiations relating to the EU’s seven-year budget, or ‘Multiannual Financial Framework’ (MFF). We can expect the rules governing the implementation of the Fund, including the application process, to be reviewed in the context of negotiations relating to the next MFF, which will take effect from 2021.</p><p> </p><p>The Devolved Administrations will be consulted in preparation for those negotiations.</p> more like this
