answer text <p> </p><p>Flood defences spend is recorded on the basis for Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) areas, rather than counties. The South West is covered by the Devon and Cornwall RFCC and the Wessex RFCC. RFCC and county boundaries do not align exactly.
