answer text
Nuclear power provides continuous power in that it is a non-weather-dependent energy source, it is a proven technology that is an important part of our energy mix. It provides stability to the grid – supplying a solid foundation for power generation on which renewable technologies can build. To give a specific example, we need sources like nuclear for days like December 11th 2022, when wind only provided 3.8 percent of UK electricity, and solar less than one percent whilst nuclear produced a steady 15 percent in line with current capacity.
more like this

This would not be an accurate method to compare dividends between water companies. All water companies publish their water charges as well as their dividends payments on their websites, and therefore the information requested is already publicly available.
more like this

This figure includes over 7,600 individuals granted settled status under the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS).

Eligible people are prioritised and referred for resettlement under the ACRS through one of three referral pathways. We are not able to open for referrals at this present time, but further information will be published in due course.

Our immediate focus is ensuring the resettlement of those eligible in the first stage of Pathway 3, which includes individuals who directly supported the UK and international community’s efforts in Afghanistan

We recognise there are many vulnerable individuals who remain in Afghanistan and the region. However, the capacity of the UK to resettle people is not unlimited and difficult decisions about who will be prioritised have to be made.

answer text
We do not plan to publish an implementation framework for a delivery plan for the Women’s Health Strategy. I wrote to MPs on 24 January 2023 setting out our priorities for the first year of implementing the 10-year Women’s Health Strategy. In this, we committed to update Parliament annually on progress, with the first update due in September 2023. In addition, the strategy committed the Government to publish a report on progress in delivering our commitments and the outcomes achieved in three years.

In regards to intrauterine insemination and IVF treatment for people in same-sex relationships, the Women’s Health Strategy contained a number of important changes and future ambitions to improve access to IVF for female same sex couples, which included removing the additional financial burden they face when accessing treatment. We expect this to take effect during 2023.
more like this
