answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/10/2019 answer text <p>The Ministerial Code sets out the process by which Ministers should declare and manage potential conflicts of interest, working with their Permanent Secretary and the independent adviser on Ministers’ interests.</p><p>As part of this process the Minister declared his directorship in Crucial Academy following his appointment and has resigned from this role. Whilst this process has been underway, the Ministry of Defence put in place measures to avoid any potential conflict. We have made clear that all EU citizens will require status under UK immigration legislation to continue living in the UK after the end of 2020, when the new points-based immigration system is introduced. We intend to establish in law a new duty of care on companies towards their users, overseen by an independent regulator. <br> <br> Alongside the White Paper, Government published the Social Media Code of Practice. This voluntary guidance sets out actions that the Government believes social media platforms should take to prevent bullying, insulting, intimidating and humiliating behaviours on their sites. The Code is also relevant to other sites hosting user-generated content and comments. The duty of care will ensure companies have appropriate systems and processes in place to deal with harmful content on their services to keep their users safe. Compliance with this duty of care will be overseen and enforced by an independent regulator. Companies will be held to account for tackling a comprehensive set of online harms, including cyberbullying.</p><p> </p><p>Alongside the White Paper, we also published the Social Media Code of Practice. Members or crimes as the information will be spread across the 45 UK police forces.</p><p>The police Parliamentary Liaison and Investigation Team (PLaIT) is a specialist unit based at Westminster that investigate crimes and incidents that take place on the Parliamentary Estate. Since April 2017 they have collated the following figures:</p><p>April 2017–March 2018: 152<br>April 2018–March 2019: 353<br>April 2019–May 2019: 43</p><p>The figures are reported crimes to PLaIT with relevance to threats, abuse or intimidation towards MPs and their offices only. It does not include other work that PLaIT investigates. We are committed to supporting the sector whilst it responds to changing consumer expectations and recognise that 82% of sales by value are still in physical stores.</p><p> </p><p>The industry led Retail Sector Council has brought Government and industry together. Its aim is to accelerate positive change, increase the productivity of the sector, and ensure the sector remains robust and sustainable to continue providing a valuable service to consumers and the community.</p><p> </p><p>Government is also taking steps to help high streets and communities adapt. On 26th August, my rt. hon. The Department has also had discussions with the supplier of the adjuvanted trivalent influenza vaccine (aTIV), which is one of the vaccines available for people aged 65 years and older.</p><p>The aTIV is locally procured by general practitioners (GP) and pharmacists who are responsible for ordering supplies of the vaccine they require for their population group. This includes £60 million that has been distributed between all local authorities in England, and an additional £8.15 million allocated to further support councils which either have, or are near to, a major air, land or sea port to ensure they continue to operate efficiently. <br> <br> The additional funding for councils with ports is to boost those councils’ capacity and help them put in place measures that will protect the services that residents, communities and businesses rely upon. The allocations for this funding have been based on a number of factors including the expected impact on the local area, the amount of EU goods received by port areas into the country and the areas’ wider importance to the UK’s trade network.
