<p>Work is underway to develop key components of the system to support charging Clean
Air Zones for early 2020. We are working closely with Birmingham City Council, one
of the first local authorities to bring in charging Clean Air Zones, to develop and
implement the system in the shortest possible time. Our priority is to introduce a
reliable and consistent service as soon as possible and practicable. We will continue
to work with Birmingham City Council on the detailed timetable for introducing the
service.</p><p> </p>
