answer text <p>Following the announcement of this fund at Autumn Budget, the Government has been engaging extensively with the private sector to ensure that it is set up in the most effective way. This includes holding meetings with over 80 stakeholders.</p><p> </p><p>We expect to launch the procurement for the private sector fund manager shortly. Once a preferred fund manager is nominated and the legal documents agreed, the fund will be formally launched and start investing. Further details on the fund will be included in the forthcoming zero emission road transport strategy.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Total UK trade with Asia was worth £216.6 billion in 2016. Total UK trade with countries outside of the EU was worth £584.1 billion in 2016. answer text <p>As co-chair of the National Retail Crime Steering Group with the British Retail Consortium, it is part of my role to ensure that the Steering Group’s work plan reflects the retail sector’s crime priorities and that the required activity is in place to deliver it.</p><p>This includes work to reduce shoplifting alongside other crimes that impact on the retail sector. We have discussed different approaches to preventing and tackling shoplifting as part of the work of the Steering Group and this will continue to be a priority.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We believe that multilateral action is the best way to resolve the problem of global overcapacity, and are working closely with the steel industry, the European Commission, and the G20 Global Forum on Excess Capacity to ensure overcapacity in the steel market is tackled on an international basis.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, to support of the UK steel sector the Government is providing compensation to energy intensive manufacturers for the costs of renewables and climate change policies. To date, we have provided a total of £250m in compensation to the sector. The Government has also secured flexibility over the implementation of EU emissions regulations and ensured that social and economic factors can be considered when the Government procures steel.</p> more like this
