That is why we are aiming to halve rough sleeping by 2022 and eliminate it altogether by 2027. We will set up a rough sleeping and homelessness taskforce and pilot a Housing First approach to tackle rough sleeping.</p><p>We are implementing the most ambitious legislative reform in decades, the Homelessness Reduction Act, to prevent people becoming homeless in the first place by ensuring more people get the help they need earlier.</p><p>We are also investing over £550 million until 2020 to prevent and reduce homelessness and rough sleeping, including through our £50 million Homelessness Prevention Programme. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/10/2017 answer text <p>The Vulnerable Children’s Resettlement Scheme will resettle up to 3,000 at-risk children and their families by 2020, but it is not possible to say what proportion of these will be children.</p><p>We continue to work closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to identify appropriate cases, prioritising the most vulnerable. The numbers resettled in a particular period will depend on a range of factors including the flow of referrals from UNHCR in the field and the availability of suitable accommodation in the UK.
