answer text <p>This Government is committed to tackling the heinous crime of modern slavery and in the UK we have a world-leading response.</p><p>There are close links between modern slavery and migration; about two thirds of potential victims are foreign nationals, and often potential victims have ongoing engagement with the immigration system.</p><p>This is not a reclassification. answer text <p>The Ukraine Family Scheme was set up to act as a light touch, temporary alternative to the existing family migration routes which existed before the Ukraine conflict.</p><p>The UK-based family member is expected to provide support and accommodation for those coming to join them under the Family Scheme. We are aware however that in some cases, living arrangements for those on this scheme have not been able to be maintained.</p><p>We have been engaging with stakeholders in local government, the devolved administrations, and the voluntary and community sector in order to inform the consideration of our options for the Ukraine visa schemes.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Ukraine Family Scheme is intended as a light touch, temporary, alternative to the existing family routes which existed before the Ukraine conflict, where public services are funded out of council budgets and the same principle is applied here</p><p><br> The UK-based family member is expected to provide support and accommodation for those coming to join them, who in turn benefit from the wider integration advantages in joining an existing family network. <br> <br> Homes for Ukraine on the other hand is a unique scheme that has been set up specifically to support those escaping the conflict in Ukraine who are not able to rely on family support. The Government is providing additional funding to local councils which includes resource to enable them to carry out sponsorship-specific functions such as safeguarding checks and property checks, administering payments, as well as providing support such as English language training to help their integration into communities.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Data Communications Company (DCC) is required to provide smart meter network coverage to at least 99.25% of premises across Great Britain.</p><p> </p><p>This is a dedicated network developed in coordination with industry security experts and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to ensure that robust security controls are in place. The network relies upon a variety of technologies to deliver connectivity, including cellular mobile, wireless mesh radio and long-range radio.</p><p> </p><p>In addition to delivering high levels of existing coverage, the DCC is also required by licence conditions to seek to provide coverage to all premises where practicable and cost proportionate.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The most recent assessment on the impacts of raising the threshold for Rent a Room relief was carried out in 2015, when the threshold was increased from £4,250 up to its current level of £7,500 per year. answer text <p>The Government will publish a review of the scheme in three months, which will consider how to support customers who are the most vulnerable to energy price increases. These are likely to be those who are least able to adjust, for example by reducing energy usage or increasing energy efficiency. The review will consider how effective the scheme has been in supporting vulnerable non-domestic customers and which groups of non-domestic customers remain particularly vulnerable to energy price rises. Continuing support to those deemed eligible would begin at the end of the initial 6-month support scheme, without a gap.</p> more like this
