answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/06/2019 answer text <p>Through the Department of Education, we know that the Higher Education Statistics Agency reported that, in 2017/18, 24,815 UK resident entrants to higher education settings disclosed a diagnosed mental health condition such as anxiety. Robust data is not available to determine how much of this increase is down to increased disclosure resulting from reduced stigma, and how much is due to increased prevalence.</p><p>Any disclosure of diagnosed mental health conditions by higher education students to their institution is voluntary. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/06/2019 answer text <p>Mental health is a priority for this government, which is why we continue to work closely with Universities UK on embedding the Step Change programme within the sector. Step Change calls on higher education leaders to adopt mental health as a strategic priority and adopt a whole-institution approach to mental health, embedding it across all policies, cultures, curricula and practice.</p><p>In addition, the government actively backs the introduction of a sector-led University Mental Health Charter, launched in June 2018. This will drive up standards in promoting student and staff mental health and wellbeing and it will invite universities to meet high standards of practice, including in areas such as leadership, early intervention and data collection.</p><p>On 5 June 2019, the Office for Students announced the award of almost £6 million of funding for 10 large-scale projects through a challenge competition, encouraging higher education providers to find new ways of combating student mental health issues. The projects involve over 60 different universities, colleges and other organisations including NHS services, the police and charities, together contributing matched-funding taking the investment up to £14.5 million. <br> <br> Higher education providers have legal responsibilities under the Equality Act (2010) to support students, including those with mental health conditions. We will ensure that the regulation of pesticides continues to be robust and fit for purpose, so as to protect people and the environment. This includes maintaining controls on endocrine disrupting chemicals.</p><p> </p><p>We are promptly addressing a drafting error in an EU Exit Statutory Instrument to make it clear that these controls are maintained. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2019 answer text <p>Data from the independent Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that in 2018 75,000 people in the West Midlands are employed on zero hours’ contracts – representing just 2.7% of people employed in the West Midlands.</p><p> </p><p>In the UK in 2018 the ONS estimate that 844,000 people were employed on zero hours’ contracts – 2.6% of all people employed.</p><p> </p><p>A record number of people (32.7 million) in the UK are employed. Since 2010 nearly 80% of the growth in employment has been in full-time work and over 75% has come from permanent employment’. The State and the Central governments of India have taken steps to provide relief to those affected due to drought.
