answer text <p>Growth Deals are a crucial part of the Government’s long term economic plan to secure a better future and stronger economy for our country.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In 2014, we announced 39 Growth Deals as the first phase of a £12 billion boost to local economies that will provide thousands of new jobs and homes as well as improving infrastructure across the country. We are determined to build on the success of the first wave of Growth Deals.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government is currently discussing priorities for the next round of Growth Deals with Local Enterprise Partnerships, as well as advising and supporting on delivery arrangements for existing funded Growth Deal projects.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
