It asked whether new safety measures in the private rented sector should apply to social housing, including the proposed mandatory requirement on private landlords to ensure electrical installations in their property are inspected every five years. The Prevention Green Paper <em>Advancing our health: prevention in the 2020s</em> outlines how we will help people moderate their drinking by working with industry to deliver a significant increase in the availability of alcohol-free and low-alcohol products by 2025. The Government will engage with industry and other stakeholders around delivering this objective.</p><p>Lower socioeconomic status is associated with higher mortality for alcohol-attributable causes, despite lower socioeconomic groups often reporting lower levels of consumption. As part of the NHS Long Term Plan, we are establishing specialist Alcohol Care Teams in hospitals with the highest rates of alcohol harm. It is estimated that this will prevent 50,000 admissions over five years. Local authorities will also receive over £3 billion in 2019/20 to be used exclusively on public health including alcohol treatment services. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/10/2019 answer text <p>Since 2010, the government has funded thousands of good new school places across the country through the free schools programme. The programme aims to kick-start wider improvement, inject fresh approaches and draw in talent from a variety of backgrounds.</p><p> </p><p>As at 1 October 2019 there are 507 open free schools, 48 university technical colleges and 24 studio schools, which will provide over 320,000 places when at capacity.</p><p> </p><p>The attached table contains the information requested.</p><p> </p><p>The length of time it takes to identify, acquire and adapt the right site can sometimes mean that it is necessary for a school to open in temporary accommodation to meet the need for school places in the local area. As such, a free school can open whilst works are taking place on the permanent site.</p><p> </p><p>Where we have had concerns over the long-term success and viability of a proposed school, we have taken swift and decisive action to cancel the project. On occasion, a trust will decide to withdraw a project before the proposed school opens. This includes leaving a vehicle in a position where it causes an unnecessary obstruction (the ‘unnecessary obstruction’ offence).</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Transport completed a review of pavement parking in England looking at the extent of the problem, the effectiveness of the current legislation and options for change.
