answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2018 answer text <p>The Births and Deaths Registration Act 1953 provides for every child’s birth to be recorded in a register kept for the sub-district in which the child was born.</p><p>Related legislation allows for the registration to take place in a wide range of premises such as Town Halls, hospitals, libraries and children’s centres. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/09/2018 answer text <p>Further to my previous answer on 2 July 2018, I can confirm that this year the Government Equalities Office has been funding several projects, through the Government’s £5m Suffrage Centenary Fund, that help deliver our aim to increase women’s participation in politics across the country. Some of these projects are providing practical training to women who want an active role in politics. This suggests period poverty does not have a significant, nation-wide impact on attendance. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/09/2018 answer text <p>The Government does not hold figures on prosecutorial decisions as this is a matter for the prosecuting authorities, in this case the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland who act independently of Government.</p><p>We are aware, however, that since 2011 the following decisions have been taken in relation to offences connected to the security situation in Northern Ireland that took place prior to the signing of the Belfast Agreement on 10 April 1998:</p><ul><li>There have been seven prosecutions of republican paramilitaries. Of the five concluded cases there have been two convictions, one acquittal and two cases in which proceedings were discontinued (one following the death of the defendant). Two cases are currently active;</li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>There have been four prosecutions related to alleged loyalist paramilitary activity. Convictions have been secured in two cases and two cases are currently active;</li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>There have been three prosecutions of soldiers with one ‘no prosecution’ decision currently under review. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2018 answer text <p>The accounts of non-profit making companies included within the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (Audit of non-profit making companies) Order 2009 (SI 2009/476) and as amended by subsequent Orders must be examined and certified by the Comptroller and Audit General. The C&amp;AG must then send a copy of the accounts and the report to the relevant departmental Secretary of State, usually this is the SoS of the sponsor department, or any other minister of the Crown who must then lay them before Parliament.</p><p> </p><p>Companies must also comply with applicable requirements in the Companies Act 2006 and follow the financial reporting principles of the HM Treasury Financial Reporting Manual (except for public corporations that are not trading funds).
