answer text <p>We already require operators for new franchises to actively promote passengers’ awareness of their rights and to make the claims process swift and simple, including through the introduction of new technology.</p><p> </p><p>We are also working with existing train operating companies to ensure that passengers’ awareness of the compensation they may be entitled to is increased and to make it as easy as possible to claim.</p><p> </p><p>Some train operating companies have already introduced fully automated compensation and the Department has been working with others who are planning to do so.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Schools are autonomous institutions, run by the head teacher, under the control of the governing body which has responsibility for staffing matters within the school. Therefore, publishing school leaders’ remuneration on school websites is a matter for individual schools.</p><p> </p><p>The current School Workforce Statistical First Release (published by the Department on 22 June), however, gives the numbers of teachers, including leadership teachers and heads, who fall into salary bands and the average salary. The publication can be found <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/school-workforce-in-england-november-2016" target="_blank">here</a>.</p> more like this

We are grateful to all those who expressed their views on school funding and the proposed formula as part of this process. We will publish the response to the consultation in due course.</p>

answer text <p>Under the statutory Right to Buy, people are not eligible who already own a share of their home, including those who purchased their home under Low Start Shared Ownership.</p><p>Shared owners can ask their landlords to use the powers given by section 32 of Part II of the Housing Act 1985 to offer them a discount on a further share of their home. It is at the landlord’s discretion whether to offer such a discount.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Local authority tenants who have garages included in their secured tenancy have the right to buy their garage when they exercise the Right to Buy. If a garage is not in the tenancy the landlord may decide whether to sell.</p> more like this
