answer text <p>The Common User Charge (CUC) consultation launched in July 2023, gathered stakeholder views on new charges required to recover the full operating costs of government-run Border Control Posts from April 2024. The Government response to the CUC consultation, which sets out the final policy and rates, will be published imminently. answer text <p>The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) gives providers additional funding to support disadvantaged children.</p><p>EYPP is currently available for 3 and 4 year olds eligible for the early years’ entitlements.</p><p>Parents may also get EYPP if their child is currently being looked after by a local authority in England or Wales, or if their child has left care in England or Wales through adoption, special guardianship order or a child arrangement order.</p><p>From April 2024, EYPP will be extended to all eligible 2 year olds, and from September 2024 to all eligible children aged 9 months to 3 years old.</p><p>On 19 December 2023, the department published indicative EYPP allocations for local authorities for 2024/25 as part of the wider Dedicated Schools Grant publication, which is available here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dedicated-schools-grant-dsg-2024-to-2025" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dedicated-schools-grant-dsg-2024-to-2025</a>.</p><p>The published tables include estimated numbers of children aged 9 months up to and including 2 year olds who the department anticipates will take up EYPP in 2024/25. answer text <p>As confirmed in the government’s response on 20 September 2023 to the consultation on expanding the early education entitlements, the department is conducting a review of the Special Educational Needs Inclusion Funds (SENIF) funding arrangements, so that the department can better support parents, providers and local authorities as the expanded entitlements are rolled out.</p><p>At the completion of this review, the department will consider what information is most appropriate and helpful for the sector in their delivery of SENIFs. Greg Clark MP and Lord Wolfson of Tredegar KC), which makes public sexual harassment a specific offence. As with any new criminal justice legislation, an implementation period is necessary to ensure all processes, systems and guidance are updated – including drawing up the statutory guidance. answer text <p>We will publish the Economic Impact Assessment of the legislative measures required to enable the Border Target Operating Model<del class="ministerial"> (BTOM)</del> in due course and no later than the Statutory Instruments<del class="ministerial"> (Sis)</del> are laid. This will contain summary data tables and they will include the requested information.</p><p><del class="ministerial">Under the new BTOM, consignments can undergo various types of checks depending on the type of product and the level of risk presented. Low risk consignments will not undergo documentary, ID or physical checks. All medium risk products of animal origin (POAO) will undergo documentary checks with an estimated cost to business of £10-£25 per check. 1% of medium risk consignments of POAO will undergo physical and ID checks, with an estimated cost to business of £250-£750 per check. The check rates on high risk consignments of POAO are unchanged. For plant and plant products, the cost of documentary checks is expected to be around £5 per check for high and medium risk goods and the cost of risk-based inspections is expected to be £20-£80 per check. Low risk plant and plant products are not charged for checks. Plans to amend fees for documentary checks will occur under future SIs for the BTOM.</del></p>
