At the SARC, there is an offer of a forensic medical examination, if clinically appropriate to do so, available to all clients. We are committed to this within a framework that protects consumers and supports market growth.</p><p> </p><p>In December 2018, the Government set out our intention to introduce regulation of heat networks and published our priorities for the sector – protecting consumers; building investment and maximising the decarbonisation benefits of heat networks. This built on recommendations by The Competition and Market Authority.</p><p> </p><p>We expect to consult on more detailed policy proposals later this year. Local authorities are best placed to decide how to promote and target flexible help to support local welfare needs. The Government has no further plans to review provision.</p><p> </p><p>The Local Government Finance Settlement for 2015-16 identifies a notional amount relating to local welfare provision in each upper-tier and unitary authority’s general grant, totalling £129.6 million for England. The notional allocation for local welfare provision remains at £129.6 million in England in the Local Government Financial Settlement until 2019/20. Specific decisions on how to uprate the Local Housing Allowance rates from April 2020 will form part of the discussions in support of fiscal events later this year.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>There is an exemption from the shared accommodation rate for those aged 25-34 who have previously spent 3 months (which doesn’t have to be continuous) in a homeless hostel/hostels specialising in rehabilitation and resettlement. Vouchers are sent to a specific address but they can be spent in any location. We do not track where individuals choose to spend their vouchers and therefore cannot monitor unused vouchers by specific location</p><p> </p><p>Funding allocated to the Healthy Start scheme is accounted through a single cost centre together with the Nursery Milk scheme. A split by individual scheme is therefore not available. In 2017-18 funding for these schemes was £104,709,791. Audited spend data for the 2018-19 financial year is not yet available. HESA categorise subjects using the Joint Academic Coding System (JACS). More information on JACS codes can be found on the HESA website here: <a href="https://www.hesa.ac.uk/support/documentation/jacs" target="_blank">https://www.hesa.ac.uk/support/documentation/jacs</a>.</p><p>Latest available data show that 6,680 full-person-equivalents[1] entered full-time first degrees in the subjects A1) Pre-Clinical Medicine and A3) Clinical Medicine at English Higher Education Institutions in the academic year 2017/18. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government provides safe and legal routes to bring families together through its family reunion policy. This allows a partner and children under 18 of those granted protection in the UK to join them here, if they formed part of the family unit before the sponsor fled their country.</p><p>There is currently no provision in the Immigration Rules for children with refugee status in the UK to sponsor family members to join them. Allowing children to sponsor parents would create further incentives for more children to be encouraged, or even forced, to leave their family and risk hazardous journeys to the UK to sponsor relatives. This plays into the hands of criminal gangs who exploit vulnerable people and goes against our safeguarding responsibilities.</p><p>Our policy makes clear that there is discretion to grant visas outside the Immigration Rules, which caters for extended family members in exceptional circumstances – including young adult sons or daughters who are dependent on family here and living in dangerous situations.</p><p>Refugees can also sponsor adult dependent relatives living overseas to join them where, due to age, illness or disability, that person requires long-term personal care that can only be provided by relatives in the UK.</p><p>The Government is listening carefully to calls extend refugee family reunion policy and we will continue our productive discussions with stakeholders on this complex and sensitive issue.
