answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>The NHS England Specialised Cardiac Improvement Programme is working to streamline pathways for patients so they can access specialist teams able to offer advice on the full range of treatment options supported by evidence of effectiveness and long term patient outcomes.</p><p>NHS England Specialised Commissioning considers it is important that patients are aware of all treatment options and this includes access to less invasive treatments, where clinically appropriate. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government considers that hydrogen technologies have the potential to make an important contribution to decarbonising heating.</p><p>The Department commissioned Frazer Nash to prepare the report ‘Appraisal of Domestic Hydrogen Appliances’, published in 2018, which discusses the feasibility and merits of hydrogen-ready appliances as well as the adaption of existing natural gas appliances and new designated hydrogen fuelled appliances.</p><p>The Department is also currently delivering the Hy4Heat innovation programme; an ongoing programme assessing the feasibility of hydrogen heating applications in buildings. The Waste Strategy, published in December 2018, sets out a new approach to address food waste from farm to fork which includes tackling food waste in schools.</p><p>Schools are responsible for their day-to-day running including their school meals service. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>This Government believes that meeting the housing needs of rural communities is important and has provided nearly 140,000 affordable homes in rural local authorities in England since April 2010.</p><p>Our £9 billion Affordable Homes Programme will deliver 250,000 new affordable homes of a wide range of tenures, including social rent by March 2022. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>The Chancellor has regular discussions with his Cabinet colleagues on a range of topics.</p><p> </p><p>The government is committed to helping parents into work, and recognises that childcare costs can affect their decisions to take up work or increase their hours. That is why we are spending almost £6 billion in 2019-20 on childcare.</p><p> </p><p>Universal Credit claimants are able to claim up to 85% of their childcare costs, compared to 70% under the legacy benefit system. This can be claimed up to a month before starting a job, and is worth up to £13,000 a year for a family with two children. Where claimants face difficulty in paying their costs upfront, Jobcentres will use the Flexible Support Fund, which is a non-repayable award. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/07/2019 answer text <p>As the report notes, the family business sector is vital to the UK economy, employing over 13 million people and generating more than a quarter of the nation’s GDP. In May this year, I attended the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Family Business and discussed a range of issues including access to external finance. The authors of the Report, The Institute for Family Business, are also a member of the BEIS SME Advisory Board, who last met on 24 June.</p><p>As part of the modern Industrial Strategy, this Department’s aim is to improve access to finance for all UK businesses, including family-owned businesses. The Government-backed British Business Bank supports more than £6.4bn of finance to over 85,000 SMEs. The Bank’s online Finance Hub also helps small business owners identify potential sources of finance via the finance finder web tool.</p><p>The Business Bank has also established a UK Network, with team members based within each of the English regions and the three Devolved Nations. The UK Network works with small business finance intermediaries to enhance business finance ecosystems across the UK, so smaller businesses, wherever they are, can grow and prosper.</p><p>In addition, Government has actively supported and invested in the creation of 38 Growth Hubs (one in each Local Enterprise Partnership area), providing businesses across England support and advice via a free and impartial, local single point of contact. The European Union Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) sets the maximum nicotine emission level at one milligram of nicotine per cigarette. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government recognises the profound impact that sight loss can have on a person’s life and the important and valuable role that Eye Clinic Liaison Officers can play in supporting patients at the point of diagnosis of sight loss and beyond. For those newly diagnosed with sight loss, access to information about appropriate support and rehabilitation services is vital.</p><p>Clinical commissioning groups are responsible for commissioning all secondary care ophthalmology services, including eye clinics and their staffing. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government has fundamentally reformed regulation of the consumer credit market, transferring regulatory responsibility to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on 1 April 2014. Although the Treasury sets the legal framework for the regulation of financial services, the FCA is an independent body. Therefore this is a matter for the FCA.</p><p> </p><p>The FCA has tough enforcement powers – criminal, civil and regulatory – to protect consumers and to take action against firms and individuals that do not meet its standards.
