answer text <p>The Greater Manchester Combined Authority has made an application to the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government for financial help through the Bellwin Scheme in respect of the additional costs incurred for battling last summer’s moorland blazes. The application is being considered by both the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Home Office who are the Department with responsibility for fire.
