answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/02/2019 answer text <p>The proud history, distinct culture and unique heritage of Cornwall is fully recognised by the Government, and the Cornish were recognised as a national minority in 2014. The Government will continue to work with Cornwall Council and its partners to encourage the further development of Cornish culture.</p><p>The Government has responded to the recommendations in the 2016 Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities (FCNM) Advisory Committee report and provided additional funding for Cornish culture and language support. In February 2017, the Government committed £100,000 over two years directly to Cornwall Council to provide further impetus to this work, complementing the devolution deal already reached with local partners. The specific model, scope and scale of any scheme, have not yet been determined, and we are currently developing proposals on these to be consulted on.</p><p> </p><p>We are drawing upon experience of how DRS systems operate in a range of countries to help shape our proposals for a scheme in England. Bilateral Official Development Assistance is allocated based on considerations of need, i.e. levels of poverty, ability of countries to fund themselves and whether DFID can add value. The 2016 bilateral and multilateral development reviews set out our approach to allocations in more detail. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2019 answer text <p>The UK remains at the forefront of the humanitarian response to the Syria crisis, providing life-saving support to millions of Syrians across the region. So far, DFID has spent over £1.2 billion to support over 5.6 million refugees in the region. For 2019, we have pledged to provide at least £300 million to alleviate the extreme suffering in Syria and neighbouring countries.</p><p> </p><p>Our assistance is focused on the most vulnerable Syrian refugees in the region to meet their immediate needs and improve their lives until they can safely return to Syria. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/01/2019 answer text <p>Work undertaken by NHS England and system partners at a national level includes supporting sustainability and transformation partnership (STP) planning to address end of life care in all settings, providing key data on services and populations to support appropriate planning and funding of end of life care. STPs bring together National Health Service, local authorities and other partners to agree system-wide priorities, and to plan collectively.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is actively working to improve support to commissioners in funding and delivering children’s end of life care, and hospice care. In April 2017 NHS England made available a new specialist palliative care currency, one for adults and one for children, to support local areas in planning and delivering services, including hospice services. The currency can help local services better understand the complexity of palliative care and the investment needed to deliver it.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England also commissioned Together for Short Lives to promote the adoption of important new guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, which sets out best practice on the care and treatment of children at the end of life.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England has established an Expert Group to bring together knowledge and expertise in children’s end of life care to consider the development of commissioning models suitable for this vulnerable group of patients.
