Anyone who is suspected of committing a further crime while on licence can be arrested and charged and, if convicted, given a further sentence. If the offence is serious, they can be remanded in custody until trial.</p><p> </p><p>Prisoners can also be recalled potentially to serve the rest of their sentence in prison if they breach the terms of their release.
