answer text <p>These three strong primary schools in York applied to convert and were granted academy orders on 12 March 2015.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>It is up to governing bodies to decide when they consult; it can be done before or after academy order but must have been completed prior to entering into the funding agreement (the legal contract establishing the academy) with the Secretary of State. The schools are consulting until 19 June 2015.
