EMCOR, the Department’s facilities services provider, holds a contract which includes the routine annual interior decoration of Departmental buildings within a larger fixed price cost.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The budget for interior decoration within this contract is £246,000 calculated pro rata for the period 2010 to 2015, within the overall fixed price costs of the EMCOR contract. This covers the decoration in the six buildings that it has owned or occupied since May 2010.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

In view of this it would not be considered good clinical practice for a doctor to prescribe large amounts of drugs to a patient going abroad for an extended period of time, whose progress that general practitioner is not able to monitor.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Any patient who leaves the country for three months or more is no longer considered ordinarily resident and, as such, is not entitled to National Health Service treatment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>No representations have been received asking for this period to be extended.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>NHS England has advised that its review of the national Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) list will ensure that more patients will be able to access drugs that provide better outcomes for their cancers.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>This re-evaluation of some CDF drugs, including regorafenib (Stivarga) for the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumours, will mean that some patients who would have received the drugs to be removed from the list will switch to alternative CDF drugs and the remainder will be offered conventional treatments.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England has also assured the Department that no patient whose treatment is currently being funded through the Fund will have funding withdrawn, as long as it is clinically appropriate that they continue to receive that treatment. In addition, no drug will be removed from the Fund where it is the only therapy for that condition.</p><p> </p> more like this
