answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/09/2014 answer text <p>The Government has no plans to reform the European Convention of Human Rights.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is however committed to reform of the European Court of Human Rights and the process used by those invoking the European Convention on Human Rights.</p><p> </p><p>The Brighton Declaration, agreed under the UK Chairmanship of the Council of Europe in April 2012, was a broad package of measures to reform the Court. Key points agreed in Brighton to define better the boundaries when the Court should and should not be involved in cases are now being implemented. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/12/2014 answer text <p>Under the last Labour Government, DCLG spent £196,585 on “away days” in 2008-09 and £137,678 in 2009-10. We have cut costs to just £272 in 2013 and to zero in 2014. This has resulted in notable savings to taxpayers.
