For less operationally critical buildings, functionality should be restored within five working days.</p><p> </p>

answer text <p>As at 16 January 2024, the Department has 47,863 Service Family Accommodation (SFA) properties in the UK, 18.6% of SFA were vacant and 96% of SFA met Decent Homes Standard.</p><p> </p><p>The void rate has reduced from 23% in 2019 to c19.5% in November 2023 to 18.6% in January 2024.</p><p> </p><p>Forthcoming changes to accommodation entitlements under the New Accommodation Offer will significantly increase the number of personnel entitled to SFA. This is expected to lead to a significant increase in demand for SFA, thereby reducing the void rate further.</p> more like this

From 11 March 2024, the Ministry of Defence will begin introducing a new accommodation offer for our Armed Forces.</p><p>The new offer is intended to modernise accommodation entitlements, improve the standard of Single Living Accommodation, update the overseas accommodation offer and, overall, give our people more of a say in how they live.</p><p> </p> more like this

The regional contracts held by Aramark, ESS and Sodexo range in length from six to 12 years.</p><p> </p><p>The HESTIA contract is not limited to catering and includes all other soft facilities management.
