answer text <p>The train operator Southeastern are responsible for the detailed planning and operation of their timetable. The realignment to Cannon Street, as the terminal station for Woolwich Line services, was required to reduce congestion at the busy Lewisham Junction and delivers the most benefit for the greatest number of passengers by improving punctuality, reducing cancellations, and improving the network’s ability to recover from disruption.</p><p> </p><p>Passengers on the Woolwich Line wishing to travel to Charing Cross now need to change at either Lewisham or London Bridge where there are frequent connecting trains.</p><p> </p><p>I understand that this structural change is fundamental to delivering the operational and performance benefits of Southeastern’s new timetable.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government is considering the role of local-level energy planning in delivering net zero. It has supported the development of local area energy planning through the Prospering from the Energy Revolution (PFER) programme, by committing £104 million in funding.</p><p> </p><p>The PFER programme included co-funding for the development of local area energy planning guidance, and the production of plans for Peterborough, Pembrokeshire, Stafford, Cannock Chase and Lichfield.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government acknowledges that local-level energy planning can help bring together key stakeholders – including local authorities and network operators – to explore routes to decarbonisation in local areas. It is, however, important to be clear on the value of local-level energy planning before taking decisions on how better to coordinate delivery.</p><p> </p><p>Officials will consider the recommendations set out in Citizens Advice’s report as they do other external publications on the subject.</p> more like this
