The FCA continues to monitor fraud rates across all payment types and will consider action as appropriate if fraud rates rise.</p><p> </p><p>Victims of unauthorised payment card fraud are legally protected against losses. One of the targets in the 2020 Cycling and Walking Plan for England was for 50% of all journeys in towns and cities to be walked or cycled by 2030. On this, the 2022 report notes that the percentage is currently forecast to be between 41-47% by 2030, but that it could be higher depending on various uncertainties.
