UKAD is the UK’s national anti-doping organisation and an arm’s length body of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). DCMS and UKAD share the common objective of promoting and protecting clean sport through education, testing and enforcement. We are investing over £46 million globally between 2014 and 2022 to counter illegal trade by reducing demand, strengthening enforcement, ensuring effective legal frameworks and developing sustainable livelihoods. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2022 answer text <p>Following the devastating fire in Hargeisa market on 1-2 April, the UK has led diplomatic and development response efforts on the ground, chairing an international coordination group and supporting a baseline fire safety assessment of marketplaces in Hargeisa, which has been shared with Hargeisa Municipality and the Somaliland fire department.</p><p>The UK, consistent with the entire international community, does not recognise Somaliland's unilateral declaration of independence. It is for Somaliland and Somalia to come to an agreement about their future relationship. Any new arrangements would need to be recognised by the African Union and neighbours in the region. The African Union is the pre-eminent regional body mandated to defend the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of its Member States, of which Somalia is one. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2022 answer text <p>Our approach to China is comprehensive and coordinated across government, allowing us to robustly defend our values whilst preserving space for cooperation where our interests align.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Earlier this year, we introduced the National Security Bill to Parliament; this Bill will help us to respond to the evolving threat from hostile activity by any state targeting the UK’s democracy, economy and values by making the UK an even harder target for those who seek to conduct hostile acts against the UK.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The UK has also enhanced our economic security regime and taken robust action to build our domestic resilience. As of 30 September, over 1️4️4️,0️0️0️ visas been granted so far on the Hong Kong British National (Overseas) route (BN(O)). The route gives them and their eligible family members the opportunity to live, study and work in the UK on a pathway to citizenship. On 30 November 2022 the BN(O) route was expanded to allow the adult children of BN(O) status holders who were born on or after 1 July 1997 and are aged 18 or over the ability to apply to the route independently of their BN(O) parents.
