CEPI are crucial to delivering on the G7's ambitious 100 Days Mission, which the UK championed under our G7 Presidency last year: to develop safe and effective vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics within 100 days of a pandemic threat being identified.</p><p>The Global Pandemic Preparedness Summit will be an important moment to marshal support for vaccine research and development from the international community and to mobilise the resources needed on a global scale to deliver these goals. We condemn the ongoing serious human rights violations by the Myanmar Armed Forces. We will continue to raise these issues on the international stage, including at the UN Security Council where we have secured four statements in the last six months. Our assessment remains that there is insufficient support amongst Security Council members for an International Criminal Court (ICC) referral at this time. It will not advance the cause of accountability for an ICC referral to fail to win Security Council support or to be vetoed; such a result would only give comfort to the Myanmar military and reduce the pressure they currently face. In November 2019, the Court authorised the Prosecutor to proceed with an investigation for the alleged crimes within the ICC's jurisdiction in the Situation in the People's Republic of Bangladesh/Republic of the Union of Myanmar. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/03/2022 answer text <p>The Government already applies a reduced rate of VAT at 5 per cent on domestic fuel and power such as gas and electricity.</p><p>The Government is providing significant financial support of up to £350 to the majority of households, which will cover more than half of the forecast £700 rise in energy bills for the average household. This support is worth £9.1 billion in 2022-23. This is more generous than removing VAT on domestic fuel and power, which would not be targeted because it would also benefit high-income households that do not need support. Since 1 February 2021, the UK has worked quickly, in coordination with partners, including the US and Canada, to impose targeted sanctions on the junta. We cannot speculate on future designations but we are looking at a range of further targets and measures.</p><p>The UK is incredibly concerned by the military's use of indiscriminate airstrikes against civilians. On 8 February 2022, we strengthened our Overseas Business Risk guidance to provide specific guidance on exporting aviation related goods, including jet fuel, to Myanmar. The UK take the question of any export of arms or aviation related products to the Myanmar Military very seriously.
