answer text <p>We are fully committed to ensuring that we have the flexible resources required to run an efficient and effective migration system; including the continued delivery of the EU Settlement Scheme until 30 June 2021 and beyond.</p><p> </p><p>Administration of the Scheme will not cease on 30 June 2021; that is the deadline that EEA citizens and their family members resident in the UK have to apply for status. There will be some instances were applications made after 30 June 2021 will be accepted and guidance on that will be published in due course.</p><p> </p><p>EEA citizens and their family members who have already been granted pre-settled status will be able to make a subsequent application for settled status once they meet the criteria of being resident in the UK for a continuous year five-year period.</p><p> </p><p>EEA citizens who hold Scheme status may also bring close family members to join them in the UK after the 30 June 2021 deadline. Such family members will be able to make an application to the Scheme, provided they meet the relevant criteria.</p>

answer text <p>We are aware of reports about the granting of Turkish citizenship to Hamas figures. Hamas continues to pose a threat to Israel and Israeli civilians. The UK is clear that Hamas' failure to renounce violence and recognise Israel remains a significant barrier to peace. We continue to call upon Hamas to end permanently their incitement and indiscriminate attacks against Israel. The UK retains a policy of no contact with Hamas, in its entirety. Hamas' military wing has been proscribed as a terrorist organisation by the UK since 2001.</p> more like this

answer text <p>On 28 July the Prime Minister launched ambitious plans to boost cycling and walking, with the aim that half of all journeys in towns and cities are cycled or walked by 2030. This includes a £2 billion package of funding for active travel.</p><p> </p><p>This will significantly increase the funding available for local authorities to deliver cycling and walking infrastructure, including on canal towpaths. Further details of funding for the different commitments in the Plan will be determined as part of the Spending Review process in the autumn.</p> more like this

We continue to use all the tools at our disposal to counter threats to national security, working with our allies. On 8 January 2019, the UK and a number of European partners jointly raised with Iran our deep concerns about hostile activities and plots being planned and perpetrated in Europe. We have long expressed our deep concerns about the destabilising activities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and IRGC Qods Force. The Government is clear that Iran should instead look to play a constructive role in regional stability.</p> more like this

This guidance reminds owners and operators of public spaces to consider the particular needs of those with protected characteristics such as visually impaired people.</p><p>Owners and operators are advised to carefully consider social distancing guidelines in public spaces, emphasise the latest government advice on safety procedures to visitors and provide clear and concise information to the public on how to adhere to social distancing.  This could include providing information on changes for visually impaired visitors and how they can continue to access public spaces in a safe way. When providing information, we encourage owners/operators to consider providing alternative types of communications with consideration to those with visual and other impairments.</p><p>Local authorities are subject to the Equality Act and the Public Sector Equality duty will apply to decisions relating to these measures.</p>
