answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/09/2020 answer text <p>All British Citizens have the right of abode, meaning they can freely enter and remain in the UK.</p><p>For a non-EEA dependant, the family Immigration Rules already permit a non-EEA family member to accompany or join a British citizen to come to or remain in the UK. The family member (partner, parent, child, or adult dependent relative) must make a valid application and meet the requirements under Appendix FM. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/07/2020 answer text <p>We are committed to collaboration with the EU and other international partners to ensure a coronavirus vaccine is made available to all as soon as possible.</p><p> </p><p>However, on 10 July 2020, the UK wrote to the European Commission to confirm its decision not to enter into partnership with the EU on its plan to negotiate an advanced purchase agreement on covid-19 vaccines. This decision was made because the EU scheme would not allow the UK to have a say in the vaccines procured, the price, the quantity and the delivery schedule. The UK would also not be allowed to continue pursuing independent discussions with pharmaceutical companies, which is key to ensuring the British public have swift access to any vaccine. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/07/2020 answer text <p>The UK Government works to ensure that aid reaches the most vulnerable including those who are more vulnerable because of their faith.</p><p>DFID’s use of country context analysis has increased the extent to which religious dynamics and religious groups are factored into all of our country programmes. DFID undertakes interdisciplinary analysis of a country’s politics, society, state and economy to identify the most significant problems that hinder development and the main entry points and opportunities to create change. There is a strong emphasis on how politics, security, and demographics interact with economic growth and human development. This includes the role of religion and the persecution of religious minorities.</p><p>The situation of vulnerable communities is taken into account when assessing those most in need of protection and assistance. This includes when a community is being targeted or is otherwise vulnerable because of their faith. We actively consult civil society, including faith-based organisations, to understand how best to support vulnerable groups.</p><p>Vulnerable religious groups will experience crises such as COVID-19 outbreaks differently. Crises are likely to reinforce their marginalised position in society, their experience of discrimination, violence and stigma, and further limit their access to essential support and services. NHS England has had discussions with some services and patients/patient groups to understand the impact of COVID-19 including what has worked well; what has not worked so well; and opportunities for transformation.</p><p>NHS England will continue to look at what services can be delivered successfully through virtual communication technology such as telephone consultation and videoconferences. Where services do need to be delivered face-to-face, NHS England will work with providers to ensure that patients have a safe journey through the hospital to the treatment area.</p><p>It is not possible to reliably estimate what health outcomes and mortality rates would have been if shielding had not been implemented. Therefore, we cannot make an assessment of the effect of shielding on rare disease patients. This information was not considered as part of the decision-making process, but supported CPAG members to more fully understand the conditions being discussed.</p><p>The reports had a mixed reception with a number of stakeholders declining to take part for different reasons, as outlined in the announcement from the previous prioritisation round which is available at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/November-2019-prioritisation-decisions.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/November-2019-prioritisation-decisions.pdf</a></p><p>NHS England and NHS Improvement are currently testing an alternative way to incorporate information on patient impact, with policy working groups drafting an initial report that is open to comments from patients, carers and clinicians when it is sent out for stakeholder testing.
