Passengers travelling by private plane or boat are only entitled to an allowance of £270.</p><p>The Government’s future approach is subject to the outcome of negotiations with the EU. The Department does not adopt a compensation policy for any damage caused by construction works as any such responsibility rests with the contractor. In the case of Ealing Fields, the Department is aware that Bowmer and Kirkland has been in regular contact with residents about addressing their concerns.</p><p>When procuring capital projects, the Department applies a comprehensive framework which sets out relevant legislation, British Standards, codes of practice and other requirements that a building contractor is required to comply with when undertaking projects on behalf of the Department. These standards were established in November 2017 when the Department’s most recent construction framework was procured.</p><p>The Department is increasing the number of schools built through modern methods of construction. This method provides the opportunity to reduce site times by up to 50% which would also reduce both disruption to pupils and staff, and the noise and dust associated with onsite construction.</p><p>The Department has built 57 schools using modern methods of construction and this financial year, we plan to open another 21 schools. The department has announced a new procurement framework with a value of up to £3 billion for modern methods of construction solutions in schools. Modelling shows that the programme, is cost effective with potential savings to the National Health Service of around £57 million per year after four years, rising to £176 million per year after 15 years. This equates to a cost per Quality Adjusted Life Year of around £3,000, considerably lower than the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence’s threshold. The cost benefits of the programme primarily arise from the opportunity it presents to prevent 1,600 heart attacks and strokes and save at least 650 lives each year. A copy of the Economic Modelling for Vascular Checks is attached.</p><p>The United Kingdom National Screening Committee has not undertaken an assessment of the impact of routine screening for the elderly to prevent deaths due to heart disease. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/06/2019 answer text <p>On 3 June, the Foreign Secretary condemned the attack on protestors by Sudanese security forces, and held the Transitional Military Council (TMC) fully responsible. We also expressed serious concern over the TMC's announcement that it would cease negotiations, and we called for an agreed transfer of power to a civilian-led government. We have called on the TMC to take the steps needed to improve the situation in Sudan, including the release of all political detainees.</p><p>The TMC should now take appropriate steps to provide confidence for protestors and create the conditions necessary for the resumption of dialogue, which includes an investigation into the 3 June attack, an end to the blocking of the internet, and a free media being allowed. We have said that the TMC must re-engage in a political process with the protestors and opposition to ensure an agreed transfer of power to a civilian-led authority, in a swift, orderly and peaceful manner.
