We have seen an increase in both the volume and diversity of probation officer applicants following a change in the recruitment process and eligibility criteria. A national campaign to recruit probation officers took place recently and successful candidates will start in July 2019.</p><p> </p><p>NPS London have prioritised the recruitment of Probation Officers to fill all current and projected vacancies and have had 211 new staff joining over the past year. As of March 2019, approximately 1,325 full time equivalent staff are employed; a net increase of 57 from March 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/05/2019 answer text <p>The South East London pathology network is being created as part of a national strategy to network all National Health Service pathology services in England, following identification of significant opportunity in the 2016 Carter review.</p><p>Due to the significant benefits to quality and cost of service, all NHS trusts are expected to network as per the direction set out by NHS Improvement in September 2017.</p><p>There are different ways to approach networking and the delivery of pathology services and the trust may wish to lead public consultation on any chosen delivery model, however the decision to consult would be for the South East London hospitals involved to decide. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/05/2019 answer text <p>All schools are required by law to have a behaviour policy which should set out the behaviour expected of pupils, the sanctions that will be imposed for poor behaviour, and rewards for good behaviour. Schools have to make these policies publicly available on their websites. To help schools develop effective strategies, the Department has produced advice for schools which covers what should be included in the behaviour policy. This advice can be viewed here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/behaviour-and-discipline-in-schools" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/behaviour-and-discipline-in-schools</a>.</p><p> </p><p>Schools can adopt a policy which allows disruptive pupils to be placed in isolation away from other pupils for a limited period. If a school uses isolation rooms as a disciplinary penalty, this should be made clear in their behaviour policy. As with other disciplinary penalties, schools must act lawfully, reasonably and proportionately in all cases. The school must also ensure the health and safety of pupils.</p><p> </p><p>The Department regularly reviews the guidance issued to schools and updates it as appropriate. This includes all such claimants, whether they are driving, or a passenger in, a motor vehicle, and whether or not they were injured in the course of their employment.</p><p>Wide ranging debates on whether road users injured in the course of their employment should be exempted from the Government’s reforms, were held in both Houses during the Parliamentary passage of the Act. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/04/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to modernising the private rented sector and intends to introduce a new, fairer deal for both landlords and tenants.</p><p>As part of this new deal, the Government will put an end to ‘no-fault’ evictions by repealing section 21 of the Housing Act 1988. Under new proposals, a tenant cannot be evicted from their home without good reason, providing tenants with more stability, and enabling them to put down roots and plan for the future.</p><p>We also plan to strengthen the Section 8 possession process to ensure landlords have confidence they will be able to end tenancies where they have legitimate reason to do so, such as selling or moving into the property themselves.</p><p>We will launch a consultation on the details of a better system that will work for landlords and tenants.
