The total number of occasions prisoners confirmed they were in receipt of welfare payments prior to imprisonment in 2018 was 41,620.</p><p> </p><p>Prisoners are also asked if they were working before they came to custody on reception. Having somewhere stable to live acts as a platform for offenders to be able to access the services and support needed to stop their cycle of offending for good.</p><p>There was a total of 28,555 prisoners who declared they were of No Fixed Abode prior to their imprisonment in the last quarter of 2018. This information is provided by offenders during their reception into custody, and forms part of the Basic Custody Screening Tool.</p><p>The Government published its Rough Sleeping Strategy in August 2018, launching a £100 million initiative to reduce and ultimately eliminate rough sleeping across England. As part of this strategy, MoJ and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), will invest approximately £6.4 million over two years in a pilot scheme to help ex-offenders secure suitable accommodation from three prisons, namely HMPs Pentonville, Bristol and Leeds. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/06/2019 answer text <p>Following the attacks in New Zealand, we recognised the increased security anxieties being felt by mosques as we approach Ramadan. A security training scheme commenced on the 5 May. We originally committed to 12 workshops but following significant interest we have agreed to fund an additional 10 workshops during Ramadan.</p><p>These workshops have been open to faith leaders and have not been restricted to those who have experienced a previous hate crime. We have also made available funds to pay for the distribution of written advice to mosques, community centres and madrassahs. During that time, Ministers have approved 49 grants to mosques worth £638,906.34.</p><p>Following the Finsbury Park terror attack in June 2017, we also announced a £1m fund to protect vulnerable faith institutions. Under this scheme, we approved funding to 38 faith institutions including 19 mosques and one Muslim community centre.
