answer text
No estimate has been made. However, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), in its guidance ‘Pancreatitis’, published September 2018, states that the annual incidence of chronic pancreatitis in western Europe is about five cases per 100,000 people. The male to female ratio is 7:1 and the average age of onset is between 36 and 55. The NICE guideline can be found at the following link:

www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng104
more like this
