answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>The Department does not record the number of veterans who reside in each local authority.</p><p> </p><p>An estimated distribution of the UK Armed Forces veteran population residing in Great Britain can be found in the 'Annual Population Survey: UK Armed Forces Veterans Residing in Great Britain', the latest edition of which (2017) is published at: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/annual-population-survey-uk-armed-forces-veterans-residing-in-great-britain" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/annual-population-survey-uk-armed-forces-veterans-residing-in-great-britain</a>. As at 2017, there were an estimated 2.4 million UK Armed Forces veterans residing in households across Great Britain.</p><p> </p><p>The sample size of the Annual Population Survey is statistically too small to produce veteran estimates at geographical locations below county level.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Department does hold information on UK Armed Forces veterans in each local authority who are in receipt of an Armed Forces occupational pension, a disablement pension under the War Pensions Scheme or compensation under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/02/2019 answer text <p>The Government collects quarterly and annual statistics on the number of people who present as homeless to English local authorities. Until April 2018, veterans formed part of a wider vulnerable group category that included care leavers, ex-offenders and those who have fled their home because of violence or the threat of violence (other than domestic violence). As a result we are not able to identify the number of veterans presenting as homeless from this period.</p><p>In April 2018 the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government introduced a new case-level data collection called H-CLIC (Homelessness Case Level Information Collection). This gives local authorities and Government more information regarding homelessness and those presenting as homeless, including people who self-declared as having served in the armed forces as a separate category</p><p>In England from April to June 2018, of the 58,660 households to who, at the point of initial decision, were owed a homelessness duty by the local authority, 0.7 per cent (430) of main applicants stated they had served in the armed forces.</p><p>The latest local authority level statistics, and quarterly statistics since 2009, can be found here:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/live-tables-on-homelessness" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/live-tables-on-homelessness</a>.</p><p>This Government is committed to reducing homelessness and rough sleeping. No one should ever have to sleep rough. That is why last summer we published the cross-government Rough Sleeping Strategy which sets out an ambitious £100 million package to help people who sleep rough now, but also puts in place the structures that will end rough sleeping once and for all. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>In 2009 the Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE) provided advice on the health effects from ultraviolet (UV) radiation in their 13th report. This related to the effects form sunbed use because of the evidence accumulating about the particular associations with artificial tanning devices. The committee has not produced any additional advice or recommendations on the general risks of UV exposure since their statement in 1992 about the general impacts of UV exposure. As a result, the Sunbeds Regulation Act 2010 was implemented to prohibit under-18s from using sunbeds. Local authorities are responsible for enforcing the regulations and carry out inspections. The Department and the Health and Safety Executive have published guidance to support the enforcement and safe use of sunbeds, and Public Health England (PHE) continues to monitor the evidence on the impacts of the use of sunbeds.</p><p> </p><p>PHE discourages the use of sunbeds for cosmetic tanning and provides information to increase awareness of the health risks of excessive exposure to UV radiation and advice for people to protect themselves. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>In the event of the UK leaving the EU without a deal, the Government is taking the decision to adopt a continuity approach in some areas, such as CE marked products, and continue to recognise CE marking as now. This means that charity retailers and other second-hand retailers can continue to place second hand goods with CE marking on the UK market, as before, for a time-limited period. There will be no need to reassess or re-mark goods, thereby minimising costs to business and consumers.</p><p>As products that meet EU requirements can continue to be placed on the UK market without any need for reassessment or re-marking, CE marked products will therefore not be required to be re-marked with a UK Marking. This means that goods that meet EU regulatory requirements, including those with a CE Marking, will still be able to be placed on the UK market for a time-limited period after 29 March 2019.</p><p> </p><p>This rule applies to goods sold in charity shops, therefore charity shops will not need relabel their products on 29 March 2019. If a product has already been placed on the market and is then later sold as second hand, it does not generally have to be relabelled.</p><p> </p><p>If the UK leaves without a deal, the Government has announced a time-limited continuity approach to minimise disruption to businesses and consumers. This year, NHS England’s independent advisory committee, the Advisory Committee on Resource Allocation, recommended a new approach to health inequalities which was reflected in the CCG allocations published on 10 January 2019. The 2019/20 component of the increase for areas with high health inequalities, which is already included in the aforementioned CCG allocations, will be available from the start of the financial year.</p><p>The core allocations formula for primary medical care accounts for greater needs for healthcare in more deprived parts of England, and a further adjustment reflects NHS England’s objectives to tackle health inequalities and address unmet need for health services. This adjustment, which targets 15% of the total primary medical care allocation, is based on data on premature mortality at a small area level, aggregated up to CCG level, and thus takes account of inequalities within as well as between CCGs.</p><p>In addition, the new five-year framework for general practitioner contract reform sets out the requirements for a Directed Enhanced Service (DES) for Primary Care Networks, which includes addressing Inequalities as one of seven national service specifications. The timetable for introducing the Network Contract DES is set out in section 4.15 of the five-year framework.
