answer text
The principle rating referred to in building energy efficiency regulations is the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ”Energy Efficiency Rating”, which is currently based on the energy cost to the consumer. In July this year BEIS and MHCLG jointly released a Call for Evidence on EPCs which included a question on whether cost, energy consumption in kWh or carbon emissions was the most suitable rating. The Call for Evidence closed on 19 October and we are currently analysing responses. The responses to the Call for Evidence will inform future policy thinking in this area.
more like this

SEPA represents a key enabler of trade between the UK, EU, and existing third-country members, and the government therefore intends to retain relevant EU payments law in such a way that it maximises the prospects of the UK remaining in SEPA.
more like this

answer text
The Department does not hold detailed records, but it is aware of a small number of authorities who are preparing Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) outside of the DfT support programme. It is a matter for local authorities, outside of the 46 supported by DfT, to decide how to take forward and apply the LCWIP process for their local area.

However, the Department encourages all Local Authorities to follow the LCWIP guidance by taking a whole network approach to planning and prioritising schemes. All Local Transport Authorities are able to access a range of planning tools, such as the Propensity to Cycle Tool and can draw on the LCWIP technical guidance (launched in April 2017), which provides a step-by-step guide to planning a cycling and walking network and prioritising schemes for delivery.
more like this

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) therefore followed a Single Source Procurement process. Other radar manufacturers now claim to be able to provide this capability and the MOD is following a Competitive Procurement Process for the Deployable Radar Project. There is no difference between the two procurements in terms of compliance as both adhere to EU procurement regulations.
more like this
