<p>The proposed closure of Rough does not significantly affect security of gas supply which remains strong. Great Britain continues to benefit from highly diverse and flexible sources of gas supply, including indigenous production, six international gas pipelines with Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands, and three LNG terminals. Analysis shows GB supplies can meet gas demand even under severe weather conditions for an extended period of time, and this has always happened.</p>
