No ‘news’ applications are available on mobile devices issued to staff.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Staff can access ‘news’ websites via the internet and are bound by the Department’s ‘Acceptable Use of Information Technology’ policy. Only one FCO-provided smart phone has authorised news apps downloaded to it. These are the Gorkana press-cuttings and BBC news apps.
